Overview

L.E.A.D. Management Consulting Group, LLC offers comprehensive full service co-active coaching and consultation services to business upstarts and small to medium size organizations in the private, public, government, and nonprofit sectors.


L.E.A.D. co-active coaching and consulting services are delivered using a four phase approach that addresses what we perceive to be critical phases of an organization’s development cycle, regardless of the organization’s level of infancy or maturity.  This process also facilitates methods by which we indentify, define, clarify, and bring forth organizational best practices.  To supplement our four phase approach, we offer a variety of value added services such as leadership coaching, team building, project management, building/sustaining ethical practices, comprehensive developmental training, and content specific seminars.


L.E.A.D. offers each of the four phases as stand alone or contiguous offerings. However, in a majority of instances, we recommend our clients cycle through each of the four phases consecutively.  By doing so, clients’ will obtain a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. They will also discover innovative ways to improve their competitive position and increase their market share.  Moreover, our four phase approach will promote the establishment of good management capabilities that lead to strengthening existing management proficiencies.  A more detailed description of our four phase approach to organizational excellence is on the pages that follow.

Phase I

At this stage of the analysis process we begin with a 360 degree view of your organization. Here we seek to determine how the organization operates in real time. In Phase I we seek answers to questions that speak to your firm’s vital operational processes, such as leadership prowess, communication flow, customer/client service protocols, IT functionality, security of Intellectual property, reaction methodologies related to changes occurring in the firm’s internal/external environments; reaction to the introduction of new ideas/opportunities; staffing and corrective action processes. We also seek to determine, establish, or reaffirm your firm’s mission, vision, and ethical standards.

Phase II

It is our belief that curiosity leads to planning. During Phase II we seek to help you find and establish your firm’s long-term success potential. In this exploratory phase we help you identify your firm’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. For emerging firms, this step is a necessary process for determining what protocols need to be established based on your anticipated business endeavor. No doubt, whether you have an existing business or you are in the planning/start-up stage, you will find Phase II as your segway into stability and perhaps profitability. While LEAD cannot guarantee the latter, we can give assurances that our analysis will provide you with the needed ammunition to chart a course for success. Still, to make it work you will have to put it to practice and not let it wither away on your bookshelf or in your closet.

Phase III

A noted motivational speaker Dr. Wayne Dyer proclaims that change takes place through a process of reawakening our thought process. He states, “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” In Phase III, our co-active coaching process opens the door to new possibilities. You simply have to change the way you see the future based on the evidence that our analytic process puts forth. In Phase III, we take what we’ve discovered in Phase II and develop a comprehensive business strategy/plan that incorporates the way your organization moves within its rediscovered operational continuum. We will assist you in establishing organizational best practices and value added competencies to secure your position in your respective market environment.

Phase IV

In this stage of our co-active coaching/consulting process we turn our attention to helping you execute all that you have discovered. In Phase IV, we focus on driving the firm – in its entirety – and its leadership in a proactive direction by helping you implement and execute a cadre of new or rejuvenated organizational best practices. To shore-up your firm’s value added capabilities, we can also provide in-depth coaching that encompasses a one-on-one approach to helping decision makers discover or rediscover their personal competencies surrounding emotional intelligence and evidence based management. We also provide in-depth training modules that include, but are not limited to, teambuilding, counseling, union avoidance or collective bargaining assistance, client/vendor relations, and diversification training.
